A Quality Engineer Associate is needed for a medical technology company focused on the repair, regeneration and replacement of soft and hard tissue in the Memphis, TN area. This role involves executing quality control projects, developing inspection techniques, coordinating with suppliers and engineers, and providing training and technical support to ensure product integrity and compliance with design specifications.

responsibilities:
  • Execute projects such as implementing Statistical Process Control and new inspection technologies, including programming and validation.

  • Evaluate and support quality control activities through training, inspection techniques, procedure preparation, and ongoing technical support.

  • Coordinate and lead meetings to review and implement new technologies.

  • Interface with suppliers and other engineers to ensure quality considerations throughout the process.

  • Develop inspection techniques and procedures to ensure product integrity meets design specifications.

  • Collaborate with Quality Engineers and Metrology Lab personnel on developing product gaging.

  • Participate as a trainer in Quality Control and Manufacturing employee training programs. Education and Experience:

    • BS in Science required with a Bachelor in an Engineering discipline preferred.

    • Two (2) years of intermediate-level experience in quality control or manufacturing preferred.

    • ASQ CQE preferred.
