Currently seeking independent contractors to be Supervised Visitation Monitors.

A Visitation Monitor ensures the safety and security of child-parent interactions while documenting what is seen and heard during court-ordered supervised visitation.

This position is part-time; supervisors choose their own schedule and assignments. We have supervisors who choose to work only 2 hours a week, and others working 15-20 hours. Payment is weekly.

Experience in early childhood development, education (many of our supervisors are teachers), family court, social work or in related fields is preferred.

We supervise visits 365 days/year. Earliest visit start: 9am / Latest visit end: 8pm

Eligibility requirements include:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid Driver’s License and proof of current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Vehicle capable of safely transporting children (car seats provided by parent)*
• Working cell phone
• Ability to scan/photograph reports for emailing to Family Focus Institute within 24 hours of each visit

*Mileage and travel time paid for visits requiring in excess of 15 miles travel round-trip (all mileage measured from FFI office in downtown Vancouver WA).

Must have experience within the family court system, education, mental health or other related field.

Standard hourly contract rate is $25/hour; holiday rate: $40/hour (holiday rates apply to visits on New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day only).
