    Job Description

  • Drive Quality Improvement Initiatives: Lead continuous improvement efforts across the organization to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Oversee compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, including leading audits and certifications.Lead and Mentor the Quality Team: Manage and guide a team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with engineering, production, and other departments to resolve quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.Manage Customer and Supplier Quality: Address customer concerns, manage supplier quality performance, and drive initiatives to improve overall supply chain quality.Monitor and Report Quality Performance: Track key quality metrics, analyze trends, and report to senior management on areas for improvement.Oversee Root Cause Analysis: Lead root cause analysis for quality issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution of problems.Develop and Implement Quality Strategies: Create and execute quality strategies that align with the company's business goals and objectives.Support New Product Development: Collaborate in the new product development process to ensure quality standards are integrated from the design phase onward.

The Successful Applicant

Candidates must be a US CitizenBachelor's Degree in a technical discipline. 7-10 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing or high-tech environments, emphasizing excellence and reliability.Experience with Defense Manufacturing- Navy is highly desirable Proven leadership abilities in mentoring teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and other key quality standards and regulatory requirements.Expertise in process improvement through statistical analysis, methodologies, and root cause analysis.Strategic thinker capable of aligning quality strategies with the company's business objectives.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration across all organizational levels.Customer-centric approach with a history of addressing concerns and enhancing customer/supplier satisfaction.Technical proficiency in manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and quality control tools.Adaptable and innovative, skilled in navigating complex challenges and driving advancements in quality practices to maintain a competitive edge.ASQ, Lean Six Sigma is a plus
