  • Partner with Head of Product Marketing to maximize the commercial potential of a portfolio of University partner brands and products.
  • Deliver a range of marketing plans and activities for a defined portfolio of university partner brands and target key personas and markets with the aim of driving conversions and new student enrolments while working with the Head of Product Marketing and Product Marketing team to.
  • Coordinate the delivery of marketing activities in a complex matrix environment including competitor and customer research, as well as creative and digital briefs.
  • Act as the Product Marketing Lead in defined areas of the business while supported by the Head of Product Marketing; work closely with specified University Partners within defined portfolio, taking a proactive lead in defining the product brand strategy and go-to-market plan, and act as the primary point of contact for applicable external stakeholders and meetings.
  • Lead on select portfolio-wide initiatives across the marketing function or wider Study Group team, outside of defined portfolio of University partners.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Take accountability for defining and clearly articulating the product value proposition for university partners, product, or portfolio initiatives in the context of different customer segments, through engaging, effective, consistent, and compliant messaging, content and creative at each touchpoint and through all appropriate marketing channels.
  • Develop a deep understanding of University brands, projects and initiatives and the products and students associated with it, including the needs and expectations from applicable internal and external stakeholders, and continually seek to improve the customer experience.
  • Independently maintain the operational marketing relationship of key projects, workstreams and partnerships ensuring regular communication with key stakeholders as required. Work with the Head of Product Marketing and support similarly on wider activities and partnerships.
  • Manage and respond to the changing needs and business goals of the University partnerships.
  • Champion the products, initiatives or brands within Marketing, Student Acquisition, and Admissions.
  • Work with the Head of Product Marketing for portfolio brands to implement marketing plans according to the student journey.
  • Lead and coordinate the briefing, creation, and implementation of marketing activities across a range of channels, e.g. web, social media and print, in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the accuracy of public information covering all marketing collateral and websites.
  • Analyze and report performance data to assess whether the objectives are being met and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Actively participate in reviewing marketing activity including analyzing results, identifying lessons learned and sharing best practices.
  • Gather and communicate opportunities for content that support the student journey and help to maintain social media activity (as required) .
  • Seek to continually improve the customer experience by listening to and acting on student needs.
  • Undertake desk research, including customer, competitor, and market analysis.
  • Complete administrative duties, including keeping data in IT systems current and regular reporting for different audiences (internal and external).
  • Support and take a lead in portfolio marketing activity and marketing project work as required.
  • Comply with Study Group policies and applicable laws including those in relation, but not limited to: Workplace Health and Safety; Anti-Discrimination and Harassment, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption and those specifically relevant to the position and authority of the job holder.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree, or relevant qualification in Marketing desirable.
  • Previous marketing experience essential
  • Experience in strategic brand management
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and oral skills
  • Experience using a range of digital marketing platforms
  • Experience in creating effective communications and media strategies, utilizing multiple channels
  • Experience in dealing and working with external stakeholders such as partners, agencies, suppliers
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and juggling priorities
  • Creative writing or copyediting experience
  • Interest or experience of the higher education sector
  • Experience of working in a multi-channel and matrix organization.
