Duties/Responsibilities:
Work closely and collaborate with other groups within the Digital Modernization department, including Cyber Security, PMO, and Enterprise Architecture. Interface with other offices, consult with and inform user departments on system requirements, and resolve problems and operating difficulties for current and future enhancements to MyMTPD Text Tips and Metro Alerts. Possess a fundamental understanding of back-end frameworks, such as Express or Fastify for API development. In addition, a solid understanding of how to utilize and consume APIs, including via REST and GraphQL is critical. Have a solid understanding of the management and implementation of cloud-based technologies, such as services within Microsoft Azure. Understand both referential and document-based database systems, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Mongo, or others. Analyze, design, develop, apply, and support complex enterprise projects. Evaluate customer requirements and provide effective solutions. Participate in problem resolution related to system design and review. Recommend approval of functional and technical design documents and enactment of systems, program enhancements, and updates of applications. Analyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility, alternative solutions, and backup procedures; and Work on the development of new solutions, upgrades, and enhancements to existing systems and ensure systems are compliant with approved standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proficiency with relevant programming languages, programming toolsets, and development in Power Platform, comprehensive understanding business workflows and security models. Knowledgeable in working with APIs, particularly Microsoft Graph and Dataverse Web API, and others. Proficiency with software development and project management methodologies. Knowledge of the methods, tools, and techniques used to evaluate, select, develop, test, integrate, and troubleshoot systems software and hardware. Demonstrated progressive responsibility with diversified technical level information systems and data processing management; and Knowledge of multi-tiered applications such as web services, clustered environments, Preferred Requirements:
• Master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Microsoft Certified Power Platform Developer
• Experience in working with third-party systems.
