Job Overview

We have a newly created opportunity for a Technical Lead to join our corporate IT team. This role is working onsite and can be based at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL. As a Technical Lead specializing in Digital Experience (DX) Platforms, you will lead a team of developers and technical analysts to customize and configure digital experience solutions that drive engagement, conversion, and retention across various digital channels. You will play a pivotal role in defining technical strategies, guiding solution design, and ensuring successful implementation of digital experience platforms to meet business objectives.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical development and architecture of digital experience platforms, including both packaged and custom applications in the ecommerce, Content/Digital Asset Management and CRM space.
  • Define technical requirements, specifications, and architecture designs based on business objectives and user needs.
  • Lead design of Salesforce/Adobe applications development models and diagrams to guide programmers through the software code needed for the application.
  • Conduct technical feasibility assessments and prototype development to validate design concepts and identify potential risks and challenges.
  • Perform audits to ensure the appropriate information is being recorded in the correct locations within the system.
  • Employ application and integration development best practices, enterprise architecture standards, functional and technical solution architecture modification and design, environment management, and testing.
  • Create application and technical design documents which leverage Adobe/Salesforce best practices.
  • Identify, investigate, and recommend improvements to products, systems, and processes and provide technical feedback for proposed system designs and implementation activities.
  • Assist in technology transfer initiatives, and review testing to ensure accuracy of performance.
  • Manage CRM/eCommerce architecture, utilized to understand customer needs, anticipate problems with mining, construction, forestry equipment etc., distribution and project management.  
  • Document technical designs, development tasks, and system configurations for reference and future maintenance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in digital experience platforms, application logging, monitoring, and observability.
     
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information science or a related field 
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with 4+ years of experience in technical leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading the development of digital experience platforms, encompassing both packaged and custom applications in the ecommerce, Content/Digital Asset Management and CRM space.
  • Experience in API development, integration/ETL Technologies, source control CICD (Git, Copado), and cloud platforms IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
  • Strong technical expertise in web development technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.js, Angular.js, or Vue.js.
  • Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms, and CRM systems, such as Salesforce, or Adobe.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure) and microservices architecture.
