What Youâll Do:

  • Lead team of 3 Vendor Performance Managers.
  • Partner with technology and product teams to drive improvement in systems, tools and processes.
  • Successfully manage complex suppliers and influence them to improve supply chain performance guided by Chewyâs strategic objectives.
  • Lead multiple, large cross-functional projects and working groups.
  • Analyze multiple, large data sets to identify actionable insights that drive improvement across Chewyâs broader Supply Chain organization.
  • Develop project white papers or project plans. Create larger written documents that require input from multiple cross-functional contributors.
  • Develop scalable solutions for your business that have application across Chewyâs broader Supply Chain organization while defining new cross-functional processes.
  • Influence and negotiate with others to achieve win-win outcomes. Effectively interact with cross-organization leadership using written and verbal communication as needed.
  • Help to design, validate, and institutionalize best practices within the Supply Chain organization.

What Youâll Need:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain or advanced degree in related field (General Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering)
  • 1+ year of proven effectiveness as a people leader
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with statistical modeling
  • Proven experience and understanding of purchasing, forecasting, and inventory management
  • Solid Analytical tool kit including advanced proficiency with Excel and SQL
  • Track record of taking ownership and delivering results in data-driven environment

A Plus if You Have:

  • Ecommerce experience
  • Tableau, R, Python, or KNIME experience
  • Experience with traditional Project Management
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience
