Key Responsibilities
  • Leasing and Marketing
    • Handle incoming inquiries regarding available apartments and provide detailed information to prospects
    • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our properties and their features to effectively communicate with potential residents
    • Collaborate with the Property Manager to develop and implement effective leasing strategies
  • Administrative and Financial
    • Qualify prospective renters by gathering and reviewing their rental and credit history
    • Assist with rent collection, including accepting payments and sending notices on delinquent accounts
    • Administer the completion of all essential office paperwork, including reviewing and coding invoices
  • Resident Relations and Retention
    • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
    • Assist with planning and executing resident events and activities to foster a sense of community
    • Collaborate with the Property Manager to develop and implement effective resident retention strategies
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
    • Collaborate with the Property Manager to develop and implement effective safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in a related field preferred
    • Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment
    • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds
    • Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions
