If you are a Quality Inspector II professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you Based in our Stafford, TX location, you will be performing receiving, first article, in process, and final inspection of the parts as per the drawings/specifications.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Enforce to the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • First Article Inspection, dimensional/ GD&T of component during trouble shooting of failed valves.
  • Perform Receiving, first article, in process, and final inspection as per the procedures.
  • Participate in quality audits and inspections, addressing any findings and implementing necessary corrective actions.
  • Perform all product inspections and tests in accordance with established quality standards, inspection plans, and test procedures.
  • Document nonconformance reports with adequate details.


For This Role, You Will Need:

  • High School/GED
  • 3 years of proven ability in Quality Inspection experience
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and capable to perform inspection
  • Proficient in use of all general Measuring & Test equipment


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Working experience in Assembly/Test of valves (or) Machining
  • Programming knowledge in ZEISS CALYPSO or Mitutoyo MCOSMOS or HEXAGON -PC-DMIS and running CMM/portable ARM
  • Knowledge of Welding/ NDE inspection ASME codes (I, II, V, VIII, and IX), PED (European Pressure Equipment Directive)
