MAJOR DUTIES: The working title for this position is Facilities Engineering Branch Chief. As a Facilities Engineering Branch Chief, you will perform the following duties: Manage and oversee the Facilities Engineering Branch in various functions such as Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), power subsystems, construction and fleet management. Assign, manage, and oversee all work for the region's facility technicians including setting and adjusting short-term priorities, developing performance standards, and training and advising employees on both work and administrative matters. Plan, coordinate, and review the activities of the facilities engineering program engaged in the construction, installation and maintenance of the facility infrastructure including electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil planning. Serve as the region's primary Point of Contact (POC) for engineering, develop comprehensive plans that integrate customer requirements, and manage budget and schedule to meet regional commitments.
