Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join our team. The Accounting Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our hotel. This individual will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner

- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies

- Assist with accounts receivable duties, including billing and collections

- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records

- Prepare and distribute financial reports as needed

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the hospitality industry

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of hotel accounting systems (preferred but not required)
