**JOB SUMMARY**

Pankow is looking for an enthusiastic marketing and savvy team player to join our team. As part of the Culture and Communications team, you will become part of an energetic group that is working to effectively market and communicate Pankow’s Vision, Mission and Values.

Coordinate efforts for the Culture and Communications team as well as develop, coordinate and implement various internal and external marketing/company-related products and services. In addition to the department’s day-to-day functions, this position coordinates proposals and interviews with support from Pankow’s Marketing and Communications Specialists. The Marketing Coordinator supports Pankow to maintain a single, consistent voice and brand in all of its communications.

**JOB SCOPE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

**Primary Accountabilities**
- Proposal Management
- CORPORATE
- Maintain library of up-to-date templates and written copy derived from all marketing pieces to ensure consistent, corporate-wide usage
- Coordinate project information database to ensure timely, accurate and accessible information
- Provide input for best practices and templates
- Provide assistance as needed for both Pankow’s Northern and Southern California offices.
- REGIONAL
- Coordinate qualifications, proposal and presentation preparation activities; oversee and participate hands-on in the production of all qualifications, proposal and presentation deliverables
- Coordinate the activities of external marketing resources (coaching, photography, graphics and technical writing)
- Support writing of proposal sections and cover letters
- Work with Proposal Lead in developing win strategies and proposal preparation plans that address client’s issues and the RFP/RFQ requirements
- Be actively involved in crafting proposal/presentation strategies and messages
- Coordinate and develop presentations, including strategy sessions, team meetings, research, design, reproduction, etc.
- Organize post-proposal debrief
- Communications
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a long-term communications plan
- Strategically recommend external marketing opportunities and manage requests (sponsorships, events, advertising, etc.) by considering company’s strategic regional business plans
- Coordinate collateral materials development, web updates, regional photography, public relations and advertising, special events, conference planning and award programs for region
- Craft effective communication messages to the target audience (internal and external) using a variety of print and digital media
- Manage web content and corporate website
- Develop, film and edit periodic videos and webinars
- Support our culture of being a Learning Organization
- Manage Pankow social media accounts
- Track and report monthly on Pankow social media and website analytics
- Assist with events as needed
- Client Relationship Management
- Assist in the development of strategy on client
- and project-specific marketing activities

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education/Training**
- BA/BS degree in Marketing and Communications, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering or related fields

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**
- Must possess strong writing skills, excellent organization and communication
- Strong proposal management skills
- Ability to think strategically
- Possesses good time management skills and ability to balance multiple short-term deadlines against long-term goals
- Proficient in Creative Cloud and graphics programs
- Excellent computer skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Database management experience; CMiC is a plus
- Strong web and SEO knowledge
- Mastery of digital communication, i.e. social media
- Experience filming and editing videos and webinars is a plus
- Active involvement in professional organizations, including SMPS, is a plus

**Work Experience**
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in Marketing and Proposal Management in the A/E/C industry
