Our Hotel

With 326 guest rooms and 31 suites, Mandarin Oriental, Miami is located in Brickell Key and is a prime location for both business and leisure guests.  It is an urban resort with Miami’s only private beach.

Overview of Position

This position performs all of the daily audit procedures necessary to ensure the balance & accuracy of all the financial operations and corresponding records. Responsibilities include but not limited to preparation of various daily reports, assisting in general ledger and month-end closing activities and reporting and working closely with all revenue generating departments to ensure accurate daily reporting of Revenues for the Hotel. Analyzing and ensuring all F&B outlets are reconciled; Spa and Front Office transactions are accurately interfaced into the Front Office systems; verifying all outlet summaries coincide with manual guest checks; settling total revenue with total settlements; reconciling any discrepancies; and generating Daily Revenue Report to management and Weekly Revenue Report to corporate office.

The Income Auditor will work closely with Hotel Management team to rectify problems raised by operational departments. Excellent computer skills (MS Office), organizational and communication skills are necessary. This individual must ensure adherence to proper revenue policies & procedures in accordance with all GAAP, Governmental & Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Standards. 

The Income Auditor reports directly to the Assistant Director of Finance.

 Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years experience in the similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.

• Flexible schedule is required, including some evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation. 

• Must be detailed oriented, excellent computer skills necessary.

• Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.

• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills are necessary.

• Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.

• Able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
