Job Title: Building Services - Janitor

Location: Harcourt House, 10900 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106

Maximum Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our team as a Building Services Janitor. This role involves performing general laundry and housekeeping functions at Harcourt House, the President's residence. The position requires handling laundry and cleaning supplies, making beds, and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the residence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general laundry duties including washing, ironing, and folding garments and other materials.
  • Make beds and clean rooms as needed.
  • Replenish stock of cleaning and housekeeping supplies.
  • Navigate multiple flights of stairs daily while carrying laundry, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the residence.

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Qualifications:
  • Experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is preferred.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks, including climbing stairs and carrying supplies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Reliable and able to work independently.
