The Opportunity

This position is a remote opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We are helping people with Diabetes lead healthier, happier lives.   As a global leader in diabetes care, Abbott is constantly working to deliver the highest quality products and unwavering support to our customers.  Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so weâre committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels.

As a Project Manager III Implementation, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing assigned business unit sales training in the following areas: products, category/market, and sales skills, supporting attainment of business unit sales goals..  This is a field sales opportunity.

What Youâll Do

  • Ensure smooth and seamless installations of our inpatient glucose monitoring solutions
  • Provide training to hospital staff including lab and nursing
  • Run necessary correlation studies and linearity studies on the customers behalf
  • Assist in answering questions pertaining to accreditation agencies such as CAP and Joint Commission
  • Assist in collating data for manufacturing analysis and internal promotional studies
  • Create and follow a developmental plan leading to positions of greater responsibility.
  • Able to teach all components of inpatient glucose and apply them to training materials.
  • Create training materials for hospital users and staff
  • Ability to plan, organize and facilitate a training class.
  • Knowledge of assigned products, markets and customers to ensure that effective training programs are identified, developed and implemented.
  • Accountable for achieving annual goals Annual review and updating of assigned training materials to reflect current priorities and strategies.
  • Able to identify and audit success vs key learning objectives.

Education and Experience You'll Bring
Required

  • Experience implementing large scale hospital systems
  • Ability to work with a varied customer base ( C-suite, Lab, Nursing, Infection Control, etc )
  • Strong analytical skills
  • MicroSoft Excel
  • Salesforce.com

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 â $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
