Job Description

ADP Retirement Services is seeking an Implementation Project Manager I to lead the project management of 401k implementations and mergers and acquisitions for our clients. As the key client owner and single point of contact, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless transition from the point of sale to ongoing Client Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage work of internal departments, clients, financial advisors, and prior recordkeepers to ensure successful implementation.
  • Perform welcome calls and explain the implementation process to clients, ensuring they understand their actions to ensure a successful implementation.
  • Assist clients with prior recordkeeper notification and obtaining a liquidation date.
  • Provide clients with blackout notices and explain legal responsibilities for providing notices to plan participants.
  • Manage transfer of plan assets and participant records by communicating with clients' current providers and internal ADP departments.
  • Establish Payroll Input calls to review with clients how to enter payroll deductions and compliance coding.
  • Work with clients, prior recordkeepers, and internal ADP parties on missing information needed to complete conversion to ADP Retirement Services.
  • Responsible for preparation and distribution of client conversion communication and documentation based on department standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Education & Experience.
  • 1-3 Years of directly related experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong influence, prioritization, adaptability, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to apply recordkeeping and regulatory concepts and methodologies.
