Job Overview

The Project Manager III is responsible for overseeing and managing IT projects from inception to completion, working on-site daily at the customer facility. This role involves coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring that projects meet organizational goals and adhere to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Management Support for the customer, including test and vulnerability management, gold image development, and storage system access management.
  • Manage the customer's storage task order to create profiles for Storage System access and review current permissions and apply least privilege required.
  • Manage the task of migrating applications from a customer-specific OS to RHEL OS.
About the Role

Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

Requirements
  • 8 – 12 years of experience managing projects.
  • Microsoft Project Plan experience.
  • High competency and understanding of IT and IT Project Management.
Work Environment
  • This work is normally done onsite at the customer facility.
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of a keyboard, laptop, and mouse.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with customers, collaborating with team members.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 8 years of applicable experience.
Nice to Have
  • Working knowledge of FISMA requirements for Systems security desired.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
