Job Description
Responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of a $60M manufacturing plant.Ensure the plant's financial health and providing decision-makers with accurate financial data and insights to support strategic planning and operations.Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis to provide a clear picture of the plant's financial performance.Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with plant management, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives. Monitor performance against these budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions.Monitor and control production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to implement cost reduction strategies.Oversee inventory control processes to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and ensure accuracy in inventory valuation.Evaluate and prioritize capital expenditure requests, ensuring alignment with the plant's strategic goals. Track CapEx project's progress and expenditures.Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls to safeguard assets and prevent financial irregularities or fraud.Collaborate with plant management and corporate finance teams to provide financial leadership and support decision-making processes.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field6+ years of experience in Accounting and/or FinanceCPA or MBA a plusProven experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environmentStrong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and cost accountingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in financial records and reportingAbility to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
