Job Description

As a Plant Accountant - Financial Reporting Specialist, you will assist the Plant Controller in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial statements and reports as required. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with monthly closing and reporting processes
  • Preparing financial statements and reports as required
  • Ensuring that financial policies and procedures are followed
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis as required
  • Preparing and presenting financial information to management as needed

You will work closely with the Plant Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with your attention to detail and accuracy, will be essential in this role.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a plant accounting or related role
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
