The University of Minnesotais excited to offer a funded, one-year Transplant Infectious Diseases Fellowship (July 2024 to June 2025)combining both clinical practice and research.

Highlights of the program:

  • Comprehensive clinical exposure through inpatient rotations on solid organ transplant (SOT) and hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) ID service lines and a weekly outpatient continuity transplant ID clinic.

  • Individualized program structure tailored to align with the trainee's interests.

  • Option for elective rotations (up to 4 weeks) with other transplant service lines.

  • Option to participate in our Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) clinic for interested fellows.

  • Opportunities for translational and clinical research as well as quality improvement projects.

  • Supportive training environment with strong mentorship from the program director and faculty.

Application Requirements:

  • CV anda one-page personal statement

  • Two letters of recommendation

  • At least 2 years in an ACGME-accredited General ID Fellowship

  • Board Eligible or Certified in Infectious Diseases

  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, an MN Medical License
