Reporting organisationally to the Ticketing  Digital Communications Manager, the  Ticketing Digital Communications Specialist will help serve Ticketing and Hospitality efforts for the FIFA World Cup 2026⢠that for the first time ever, is hosting 48 teams and 1,200+ players across 3 countries and 16 venues. This role will manage the planning and the definition of the process relative to the creation of all the customer's communications and collaterals across the ticket sales process, under the applicable sales strategy and ticketing requirements, and work closely with all the other sub-teams or Functional Areas.

The Ticketing Digital Communications Specialist focuses particularly on the delivery of accurate, consistent, and relevant outputs to ensure that the customer has all the relevant information that must need before, during, and after the purchase process for the FIFA World Cup 2026â¢, within the right timing, the correct format and the appropriate language for each customer.

THE POSITION The main responsibilities of the Ticketing Digital Communications Specialist, for the FIFA World Cup 2026⢠include:  

  • Draft, review, translate, implement, and continuously manage ticket sales collaterals, including but not limited to: content for online ticketing portals and mobile apps, FIFA.com pages, FAQs portal, Standard Responses, Chatbot scripts, ticketing guides, call center and IVR scripts, transactional emails and customer communications to meet quality and timeline requirements.
  • Monitor and continuously update all sales collaterals and customer communications, to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency always during throughout the ticketing customer journey process.
  • Provide timely and effective content management for the online ticketing portals as well as mobile ticketing applications.        
  • Ensure all sales collaterals and customer communications are accurate, consistent, relevant, and compliant with the applicable sales strategy and ticketing requirements.       
  • Effectively manage and archive all versions of sales collaterals and customer communications in all languages.  
  • Manage the ticketing glossary and the respective translations and ensure the correct implementation.  
  • Ensure adherence to specific operational deadlines and compliance with ticketing policies and regulations. 


YOUR PROFILE   Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor or masterâs degree or equivalent in a relevant area such as Digital Marketing, Communications, or similar. 
 
Work Experience
  • Minimum two years of experience creating and managing ticketing content for events, ideally in the sports industry. 
  • Experience using content management and marketing automation tools on large projects would be nice to have, ideally within the ticketing and/or sporting events industry, requiring strong communication and organisational skills. 
  •  Experience in the creation of digital content and/or the provision of translations that require an attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the creation and translation of digital content and documents from English into French, Spanish, German, Portuguese or Arabic and vice-versa would be an advantage.
  • Venue and onsite operations experience for large-scale events, ideally in the sports industry would be an advantage. 
Languages

  • Fluent in German, is required for this position
Technology
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
  • Marketing Automation Tools and Content management platforms. 
  •  Experience with Ticketing Systems is nice to have
