Regional Director Transit

Hatch is seeking a Regional Director to lead its global multi-disciplinary Transit business across the USA. The Transit team brings together experts in rail systems, vehicles, civil infrastructure, design-build, project implementation and a variety of other specialties to inspire positive change in cities and communities around the world.

The Transit group at Hatch is a part of the larger global Infrastructure practice that is one of the major business sectors within the company that offers an array of expertise in water, aviation, highways and bridges, ports, rail, urban solutions and tunnelling.

Reporting to the Managing Director, Transit the Regional Director will be responsible for growing and leading a Regional Transit business which is a part over 1000+ Transit professionals across all of Hatch's global locations. The Regional Director will provide leadership in maintaining and further developing a Transit business, including responsibility for business development, team leadership and development, thought leadership and research, client engagement, technical oversight of deliverables and project financial performance.

Responsibilities:
Act as the National leader for Hatch's Transit business in the USA and be responsible for the growth of the practice in the market and financially Achieving and developing business development targets through client relationships and project pursuits; Grow the team to match increasing workload and collaborate globally with the whole of the Transit international team; Lead the bid development processes by managing technical proposals and providing written technical inputs as necessary; Provide the strategic planning of short and long-term business direction in the USA; Liaise, network and encourage collaboration across Hatch's disciplines and businesses that contribute to the Transit offer; Work closely with other managers on all regional Transit projects and staffing; Provide quality assurance of ongoing projects, reports, bid submissions and products.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field; 10+ years of experience in Transit related industry with strong practice management skills; Previous experience in leading a team and function for commercial performance; Demonstrated ability to lead and manage project teams in a multi-disciplinary environment; Demonstrable track record of successful business development and achievement of targets;
