What will you be doing?

• Leading, mentoring, and guiding a team of engineers, setting goals, priorities, and performance expectations
• Defining project scope, timelines, and resources, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Providing technical guidance, reviewing designs and architectures, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executives to ensure effective communication and alignment
• Managing budgets, resources, vendor relationships to support engineering projects; encouraging innovating, researching, and experimentation to stay ahead of trends
• Driving process improvements, implementing efficient development methodologies, and ensuring quality assurance
• Identifying and mitigating technical risks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services
• Attracting, retaining, and developing top engineering talent, fostering a culture of growth and learning

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science with relevant work experience and experience of people management and leading team of technical contributors
• Several years of overall experience including system design, development, architecture and solving complex IT problems.
• Several years of experience in Java and related technologies and 3+ years of Messaging experience using Kafka, Tibco or related technologies.
• More than three years of full stack development experience including UI, Middle Tier/database development and messaging experience using Kafka, Tibco or related

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience with jBPM / Camunda
• Experience with Knowledge Graphs
• Experience with cloud technologies like AWS
• A team player who takes initiative and can influence the development of the system
