Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through CareerTrax leveling system

Schedule: 5 x8 hour shifts.

You will have the opportunity to work with our amazing Board-Certified Surgeons. Most of our cases are orthopedics, soft tissue, neurological, and more There is no ER service, no weekend hours, and we are generally closed for the 6 major holidays each year. We are seeking a Sterile Supply Assistant with a self-motivated, positive attitude to add to our surgical team. This person should be organized and focused on maintaining high-quality instruments and patient care through sterile preparation.

As a Sterile Supply Assistant, you will:

  • Prepare instruments and operating room for surgery.

  • Troubleshooting and removing faulty equipment from service to submit for repair or replacement.

  • Maintaining appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment.

  • Decontaminating and cleaning operating rooms, sterile supply room, and equipment according to established procedures.

  • Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and wrapping packs

  • Serving as a resource/reference to surgical team with regards to surgical equipment.

Our Continuing Education Plan includes $500/year reimbursement for CVT and $750/year for VTS. The Continuing Education allowance can roll over up to $1,500 for CVT and VTS associates. Non-Credentialed, full-time Paraprofessionals are eligible for an annual CE stipend of $150. Full-time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full-time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours. Newly hired associates will receive a pro-rated amount of any CE benefit for which they are eligible.
