Our state-of-the-art investment casting facility in LaPorte, Indiana is seeking a Controller to join our Finance team.
Nestled halfway between South Bend and Chicago, along the shores of Lake Michigan - our facility in LaPorte, Indiana supplies jet engine components to some of the most trusted names in the Aerospace industry.
This position is responsible for location Financial Reporting, adherence to all GAAP, and Howmet policies and procedures, and practicing risk management and ASAT compliance for all aspects of controls. This position also provides Financial leadership and data analysis for development of alternatives and solutions used in management decision making, as well as preparation of budgets and forecasting and corresponding financial accountability. In addition, this position is accountable for developing financial acumen in the location lead team as well as developing direct reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Preparation and analysis of location P&L resultsPreparation of budgets and forecasts and analysis to actual performanceReview of financial statements and account reconciliationsData analysis for decision making and tracking performance progressSPA for ASAT Objectives – Analysis, Revenue and Management Calculations of location key metricsReview and Maintain contribution margin analysis
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES – Job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Controller for LaPorte Casting, Transportation Services and Logistic ServicesSPA for location ASATLocation compliance to all policies and proceduresAccountability for validity of location financial statements and representationsManagement and development of Finance staffAssure accurate, current and complete information for government contractsCommunication of location results to plan and to performance objectivesProvide Financial leadership for evaluation of projects, plans and investmentsPerforms other work-related duties as assignedThis position supervises the Finance Department
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BS/BA in Finance or Business, MBA is required.10 years Finance experience (preferably in manufacturing environment)Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
