Responsibilities:

  • Messaging: Develop solution positioning and messaging that uniquely differentiates Devo's solutions from the competition.
  • Sales and marketing content development: Bring your writing and analytical prowess to deliver compelling long and short-form content, including white papers, presentations, videos, blog posts, and demos.

  • Communications: Work with sales and marketing communications to broadcast the message to the target market, across the organization, and the industry ecosystem.
  • Market and competitive intelligence: Be the expert on our buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to beat them.
  • Industry leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, webinars, and speaking engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Successful track record working collaboratively with distributed cross-functional teams
  • Forward-thinker, adept at interpreting data analyses and drawing marketing implications from research and customer insight
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling stories
  • Proven showcase of authored content and ability to speak confidently to different audiences
  • Strong business understanding and ability to prioritize and make trade-offs based on impact
  • Must be a self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced software start-up environment

Background:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in product marketing, product management, or equivalent experience
  • Security industry experience, preferably marketing SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, and/or EDR to both technical and non-technical personas
  • Bachelor's degree required
