Job Purpose

Lead and support the department through the intentional development and execution of the Morale strategies by promoting a culture of continuous improvement that ensures a highly engaged workforce.

Key Accountabilities
  • Seek and develop Associate involvement in engagement activities to improve Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale and Environment.   
  • Establish and maintain regular communication of engagement opportunities to promote Associate awareness.   
  • Facilitate and support involvement activities to enhance Associate engagement.
  • Maintain required resources needed in an office / production environment to successfully complete daily department tasks.   
  • Develop and implement morale business plan themes to achieve department Key Performance Indicators.   
  • Strengthen capabilities of self, and team through training, mentoring and sharing of experiences to promote Associate growth.  
  • Track and report plant required Associate training to ensure compliance.   
  • Track and assign suggestions to ensure closure and Associate feedback in a timely matter.
  • Manage recognition program to acknowledge Associate contributions.
  • Track and report progress of associate development plans to ensure on time completion.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 0 - 4 years manufacturing depending on education
  • Basic understanding of PowerPoint/Excel/Word 
  • High-level computer usage proficiency. 
  • Regular attendance 
  • Ability to work in a team environment both within the AF Department and with other departments within HMA.
  • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality. 
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills, 
  • Good leadership skills (e.g., team leadership, office management, project management, etc.)
Decisions Expected
  • Skill to create a Specific Action Plan for Morale Business plan themes  
  • Ability to create a Situation Analysis / path forward for morale business plan
  • Ability to effectively communicate morale business plan and key performance indicator status to upstream and downstream customers  
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to work necessary OT, travel, work with various team members upon request.
  • Must be able to work under pressure
