This role will manage the ICW corporate-wide instance of JIRA and related Atlassian tool suite in collaboration with our technology delivery teams. The JIRA administrator provides configuration, maintenance, end user support, and project related activities associated with the application tool suite.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Collaborate with stakeholders and provide application support:

  • Understands software delivery lifecycle concepts in order to design and deploy framework for delivery teams to execute against: roadmap, initiative, programs, projects, Agile scrum teams, and operational teams.
  • Help drive process improvements around the Jira structure and how we organize the projects and team along with configuration and management of Jira and related Atlassian suite.
  • Facilitate design workshops and ongoing interactions with key stakeholders to determine detailed requirements.
  • Ensures non-functional requirements, including UX, scalability, performance, supportability and reliability are identified and considered.
  • Project Management / Configuration: Create and organize new projects within JIRA, configure layout, design, workflows, and dashboards.
  • Access Control: Ensure that project team members have appropriate access to all necessary materials.
  • Work with business users to evaluate JIRA and Confluence plug-ins, determine licensing needs, and perform testing, installation and configuration of the plug-ins.
  • Generate documentation on workflows and processes implemented in JIRA to support ongoing operations.
  • Configure and maintain integration with Smartsheet.

Supportability and maintainability:

  • Troubleshoots and resolves application and integration related incidents and problems.
  • Analyzes support pain points and provides solutions to address commonly recurring requests and/or incidents.
  • Responsible for overall “hygiene" – unused workflows, duplicate schemes, scheme elements, issue types, statuses, priorities, custom field values, labels.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining project archive or data management strategy.
  • Maintain JIRA upgrades and adoption of new features.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required with a major or emphasis in Business, Accounting, Statistics, or related field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, management, delivery accountability, or similar financial or business analyst role required. Experience in an information systems/technology environment preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

JIRA Projects for Cloud Certification preferred. Agile Scrum Master certification preferred.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Understanding of Web Technologies (Cloud/Amazon Web Services, Jira, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Java)
  • Configuring & managing development & testing sandboxes.
  • Develops and maintains integrations between Service Now and Smartsheet.
  • Understand tools ITIL support framework to ensure strong understanding of processes. At least 3 years direct support of JIRA and at least 7 years as a power user.
  • Basic understanding of API standards for communicating and integration between applications.
  • Familiarity with the basic Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework and its corresponding artifacts.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours. Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. May be required to lift light objects. Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing corrected to a normal range.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates in an office environment and requires the frequent use of computer, telephone, copier and other standard office equipment.

COMPENSATION

The salary range listed for this position, $77,586.10 to $130,843.64, is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at ICW Group, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education. In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. We typically do not hire towards the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package outlined below.
