As the Advertising Research and Insights Manager, you will lead research initiatives that fuel creative strategies and make Best Buy advertising campaigns more effective. You’ll dig into data to uncover insights that inspire our creative, marketing and media teams, ensuring everything produced resonates with our audience. In this role, you’ll collaborate across departments to translate consumer behavior and market trends into actionable, data-driven strategies. If you’re curious, strategic and passionate about using research to drive creative success, this role will give you the chance to make a big impact.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at a Best Buy location (Corporate Campus, Richfield, MN) and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do
  • Lead and manage research projects to inform creative, marketing, and media strategies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to translate consumer insights into compelling campaigns.
  • Manage the research budget and partner with external research vendors to stay on track.
  • Present key findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ensure Best Buy advertising strategies are informed by data and continuously optimized.

Basic qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in market or advertising research or consumer insights
  • 5 Years of strong analytical skills with experience in both qualitative and quantitative research.
  • 5 years of experience of presenting research findings in a clear and compelling way
  • 5 years of experience supporting a marketing teams to guide strategic way
Preferred qualifications
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior and media trends.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills for delivering insights to diverse teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or a related field
