Sales Analyst, Target - Mars Wrigley

The Target Sales Analyst supports profitable sales growth achievement for the Mars Wrigley Confectionery business at Target. This associate provides critical support through sales analytics and financial management.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ year of sales or analytics experience
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Consumer Packaged Goods Industry and/or experience with major retailers preferred but not required
- Forecasting, Business Analytics or Customer-facing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to travel 10% - 15% of the time
What would be your key responsibilities?
- Responsible for weekly sales trends reporting and communication
- Responsible for managing DSRM (including forecast inputs, checkpoints, and deduction process)
- Supply chain support, including weekly service/supply calls to help fulfill Mars Wrigley's on time and in full goals with Target
- Ad hoc pulls in IRI, Nielsen and VIQ (Target's vendor data portal)
- Develop relationships with MW cross-functional associates (Customer Marketing, Customer Service/Logistics, Category Management) as well as Target (IA's, planners, IMN specialists, Merch Specialists, Assoc Buyer)
- Support internal account management needs, including trade finance budget tracking, promo tracking, item setup/maintenance, and follow-up on deductions or disputes when needed.
