Who You’ll Work With

Our Business Advisory Services teams help organizations of all kinds redefine what’s possible, give shape to the future—and get there. We focus on high-impact projects, meeting our clients where they are to uncover business needs and deliver results. Our teams go beyond the expected to help clients move confidently through ambiguity and risk and drive more transformative outcomes.

As an Organizational Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming businesses by designing and implementing innovative organizational strategies that align with clients' missions, visions, and goals. Leveraging your deep expertise in operating models, organizational design, and business architecture, you will guide clients through complex challenges and drive impactful change. This role requires a strategic thinker who excels in ambiguous environments, possesses strong leadership and facilitation skills, and is passionate about helping organizations achieve their full potential through thoughtful and scalable design solutions.

You would enjoy this role if you excel at tackling complex organizational challenges and driving strategic transformations. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who navigates ambiguity, aligns leadership, and designs innovative operating models. If you're passionate about shaping organizational architecture, optimizing processes, and guiding high-impact decisions, you'll thrive as a Senior Organizational Strategist. This position is for someone who loves working across diverse industries, influencing change at a transformational level, and helping organizations achieve their vision.

What You’ll Do

  • Advise and Co-Create Strategic Operating Models: Partner with clients to design and implement innovative operating models, organization structures, and ways of working that align with business strategy, addressing challenges through workshops and leadership alignment sessions.
  • Drive Organizational Transformation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and assess current operating models, identify opportunities, and develop action plans that enhance organizational design, structure, and processes, supporting complex business transformations and merger integrations.
  • Strategic Guidance and Decision-Making: Lead discussions to help clients navigate organizational strategy decisions, such as establishing product teams, Centers of Excellence, and Shared Services, while articulating the unique value propositions of new business units or organizations.
  • Leadership Engagement and Alignment: Design, develop, and deliver leadership engagement activities that build alignment, secure buy-in, and ensure the successful execution of mission-driven strategies and organizational frameworks.
  • Cross-Industry Expertise: Apply a deep understanding of organizational principles across various industries, quickly building client credibility, and integrating organizational activities into broader business transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of transformational organizational strategist experience; of which 3+ years is in management consulting
  • Experience designing and applying operating model and organization principles, methodologies, and tools – and knowing when to not over-engineer
  • Experience in organizational assessment, workforce planning, and organizational design/structure that allows for capability development and organizational scaling
  • Ability to lead the design and facilitation of strategic planning sessions - aligning leaders around a shared mission, vision, and strategy
  • Strong skills with research and analysis, strategic vision mapping, and systems thinking
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills with audiences of all levels with the ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling, and succinct way
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Easy adaptability to new environments; embracing ambiguity
