Position Purpose

Under the supervision of department leadership, the Accounting Clerk, performs various clerical functions in support of the department

Nature and Scope

The major challenges to this position are handling several assignments simultaneously, frequent interruptions, researching problems, and correcting discrepancies while still meeting deadlines. Other related duties and overtime may be required.

The incumbent plans and organizes work around established deadlines. Decisions that are referred to the Accounting Supervisor or Senior Accountants are major discrepancies, deadline changes, and any issues outside of established guidelines, which may impact the department or organization.

The nature of these duties is confidential and subject to audit.

This position does not provide patient care.
