Billing Clerk Job Description:

PrideStaff is partnering with a local logistics company in search of multiple Billing Clerks to join their team.  The Billing Clerk will support the Customer Service Manager and Billing Supervisor along with Operations to track collections, entering Billing information, creating and issuing quotes and invoices.  The Billing Clerk will resolve customer concerns and complaints to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner.  The Billing Clerk will also initiate Billing Cycles and verify appropriate charges along with providing excellent customer service.  The ideal Billing Clerk has experience in Billing, has excellent work longevity and works well in a fast paced team environment.  The Billing Clerk position is a full-time, temp to hire position in Reno, NV. 

 

Billing Clerk Job Responsibilities:

  • Create & Issue Invoices to Customer & Process Credit Memos

  • Prepare Account Statement For Customers 

  • Follow Up on Outstanding Payments & Answering Customer Inquiries

  • Monitor All Payments & Prepare Monthly Billing Reports 

  • Manage Accounting Department With The Preparation of Financial Reports 

  • Updating Accounting Records With Issued Invoices & Processed Payments, New Balances, & Customer Contract Information 

 

Billing Clerk Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 

  • Previous Experience in Billing or Similar Role 

  • Knowledge of Accounting Software Such as Crown Software Prefered (Training Provided)

  • Working Knowledge of Accounting Standards & Relevant Legal Regulations 

  • Excellent Communication, Organizational & Time Management Skills 

  • Proficient in MS Office & Excellent Math Skills

  • Excellent Attention to Detail in a Fast Paced Environment

  • Works Well Under Pressure & Willing to be a Team Player
