As our Sales Manager, you'll be the driving force behind selling and servicing events at our hotel. Your primary focus will be on Banquet Food and Beverage sales, but your role will encompass so much more Here's a sneak peek at what your days will look like:
- Event Planning Extraordinaire: From menu planning to agenda setting, you'll work closely with clients to bring their visions to life.
- Communication Guru: You'll facilitate seamless communication with hotel staff before, during, and after events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Tour Guide: Show off our stunning event spaces, F&B outlets, spa, and more during hotel tours.
- Relationship Builder: Maintain strong connections with clients and colleagues, participating in and sometimes leading event and staff meetings.
- Team Player: Collaborate with our sales, events, and operations teams to deliver top-notch service. Your Daily Adventures
- Sales Rockstar: Proactively target SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal) markets to drive sales.
- Inquiry Converter: Handle and convert inquiries into successful meetings, events, and group sales.
- Sales Strategist: Develop and execute a yearly sales plan, including prospecting lists and outbound sales initiatives.
- Contract Negotiator: Negotiate and distribute contracts, manage payments, and handle deposits and refunds.
- Client Entertainer: Host clients and give them a taste of what we have to offer.
- Event Maestro: Understand clients' needs, plan events, and supervise execution alongside our Banquet Captain and F&B Manager.
- Market Trendsetter: Stay updated on current sales trends and the competitive landscape.
- Policy Setter: Work with the F&B Manager to establish standards, procedures, and operational guidelines. What We're Looking For
- Experience: Ideally, you have at least two years of hotel experience.
- People Person: You have a genuine desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicator: Your verbal and written communication skills are top-notch.
- Tech-Savvy: You're proficient in general computer knowledge.
- Detail-Oriented: You're extremely organized and detail-oriented.
