About the Role:
CHANEL is looking for an E-commerce Merchandising Specialist to join our US digital team in New York City. The ideal candidate will play a leading role in optimizing the client experience on Chanel.com, identifying key merchandising strategies to increase site engagement & conversion. This site merchandising role will function within the pillar of Merchandising & Personalization and is a key partner for Fragrance & Beauty (F&B) marketing & account planning. This Specialist will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and a passion for site merchandising, eCommerce digital strategic planning, data-driven insights, and collaboration to drive results.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
- Lead on-going site merchandising updates & SKU activations in content management systems to successfully support campaigns and sales objectives
- Partner with Global F&B Digital on globally contributed page content with planning alignment and thorough quality assurance testing to support new products, campaigns, and seasonality
- Analyze on-site search behavior to optimize search terms, monitor trends, and provide enhancement recommendations
- Partner with digital business analyst and demand planning team to identify business opportunities and align on inventory statuses
- Conduct competitive analysis to gain insight & provide takeaways for mood boards and future F&B digital initiatives

Position Logistics:
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience working in a digital site experience role
- Experience in product & content management systems, must have GA4 experience, Salesforce a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Partially Remote: Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at the New York City office

Compensation:
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,500 through $82,500. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay may be offered for this position. Other components may include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
