Seattle, United States Amazon Full time

Promotions are a key part of the Amazon flywheel: they bring excitement and value to customers, drive sales for selling partners, and grow Amazon’s long-term free cash flow (LTFCF). In this role, you will lead our strategy on improving the quality of promotions available worldwide by partnering with key parts of Amazon's e-commerce business: Internal creators, Selling Partners, Vendors, Personalization, Events, Pricing, and Promotions.

As a Principal Product Manager - Technical, you will lead the development of a long term product vision, strategy, and execution. You will be the owner for strategic, highly visible delivery and adoption goals, and a joint owner in strategic goals that balance the quality of our promotions with the growth of the business. You will take on an ambitious long term view of how we will raise the bar in the quality of promotions offered on Amazon. This role will embody strong partnership across multiple cross functional teams, including engineering, design, finance, the worldwide retail org, and other Amazon teams.

The ideal candidate has experience building and working with multiple technical systems across both product and technical teams. You should have passion for delivering great software products for customers, dedication to building a lasting and inspiring roadmap, and excitement for working with stakeholders across the company to deliver a great selling partner experience.

- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
