PURPOSE AND PERFORMANCE GOALSThe Area Reservations Manager is an extension of the sales and catering cluster teams by handling phone calls, group reservations, appointments and communications with a high degree of professionalism, communicating to the respective managers in the departmentThe Area Hotel Reservations Manager is critical in driving revenue and ensuring guest satisfaction across all four Hilton Hotels and one independent in the Chicago area. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced hospitality professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential duties and responsibilities include (not limited to) the following:
  • Answers all incoming reservations needs for group sales
  • Supports Hilton Hotels in creating group blocks, managing inventory on group pickup, rooming lists
  • Maintains group history in computer system for Hotels in Sales Cluster
  • Strong communication with Sales Team and Revenue Management
  • Generate regular reports on group and preferred account reservation performance, including occupancy rates, revenue metrics, and booking trends.
  • Ensure compliance with Hilton's reservation policies and procedures and relevant industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain the accuracy and integrity of reservation data.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES – Not applicable
