  • Under the general administrative direction of the CHRO, this position plans, manages, oversees, provides leadership for and facilitates CIIS' EEO and Title IX programs.
  • Development, coordination, and implementation of the institution's EEO compliance plan, policies, and administrative procedures.
  • This includes complaints of all protected class harassment and discrimination claims, including those related to sexual misconduct, sexual and/or gender-based harassment/discrimination, stalking, dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and gender identity.
  • This includes being responsible for conducting trauma-informed investigations, creating reports and responding to complaints; implementing supportive measures and providing resolution; implementing appropriate policies, procedures and outreach, training, and prevention programs; and providing highly responsible and complex administrative support related to Title IX compliance and best practices.
  • Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972; Section 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; the Age Discrimination Act of 1975; the Clery Act (as amended by the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act); the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA); and the PUMP for Nursing Mother's Act (PUMP Act) and applicable state laws.
