OVERVIEW

The Maintenance & Equipment Supervisor supervises and provides direct leadership for Technicians, Welders, Parts Runners, and Laborers. This role is responsible for managing the work flow and assigning tasks. The Maintenance & Equipment Supervisor works alongside the Maintenance & Equipment team and reports directly to the Maintenance & Equipment Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct supervision of Maintenance & Equipment staff including Technicians, Welders, Parts Runners, and Laborers
  • Coordinate and supervises all maintenance work and repairs; monitors progress and quality
  • Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests; prepares work order documents
  • Performs mechanical duties, as needed
  • Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks, as needed
  • Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action, as needed
  • Provides input into termination, compensation and promotion decisions
  • Interprets and ensures consistent application of Organizational policies and safety regulations
  • Creates and submits reports, as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the US
  • Valid driver license
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in equipment maintenance management
  • Supervisory experience
  • Maintenance and repair skills
