Position: Assistant Director for Graduate Programs

Department: Lundy-Fetterman School of Business

Status: Full Time

Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the dean and specific direction of the directors of the Master of Accountancy (MAcc), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Master of Trust and Wealth Management (MTWM) Programs, the Assistant Director for Graduate Programs is responsible for all administrative work related to the admission process and operations for the graduate programs in the Business School.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages the application and admissions process, including acceptance, evaluation, and processing of applications and supporting materials for all Business School Graduate Programs.
Manages implementation of the marketing and recruitment plan for graduate programs, including planning and implementation of recruiting events
Meet with prospective students and respond to inquiries.
Track and report admissions data.
Confers with University Departments and Offices concerning applicant and student issues.
Establishes, maintains, and periodically reviews individual graduate student files.
Develop and disseminate all program-relevant communications to students.
Registers students and provides student advisement each semester.
Tracks curricular progression of students.
Coordination of student events.
Assists with graduation preparation for Business School Graduate Programs including confirming graduation requirements have been met and supporting students with the graduation process.
Assist with accreditation updates, program assessments and reporting.
Assist with calendar (curriculum) coordination and scheduling.
Manage and update the program website.
Communicate with faculty regarding students, program policies, and academic updates.
Assist with social media platform messaging for Graduate Programs.
Assist with budget & graduate program payments (IvySoftware, CPA Prep)
Manage graduate program inventories/procurements.
Assist with event planning, other projects, administrative duties, and initiatives across LFSB.
Communications via internal and external emails, phone calls and correspondence.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Uphold and abide by Campbell University policies and procedures, including but not limited to Title IX, and Information Security, including but not limited to FERPA and other state and federal mandates.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience in a higher education or non-profit sector desired
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to communicate effectively to all groups through both oral and written channels.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Comprehensive computer skills with the ability to learn and utilize new and emerging technology.
Familiarity with Colleague (or other student information system) and CRM platforms.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and standard methods of digital communication, including web/text/chat platforms.
Familiarity with utilizing/administering social media platforms.
Demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy and discretion in dealing with faculty, staff, students, high-level university officials and the public.
Work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people.
Exercise good judgment in complex, new, and/or stressful situations.
Manage multiple, concurrent projects, and meet set deadlines.
Confidentiality in maintaining student records and information.
Adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to work in a changing environment.
Ability to work occasional evening or weekend hours and occasional travel; including overnight stays.
This position demands accuracy, honesty, integrity and the ability to work within the Christian mission of Campbell University.
Must have a valid driver's license.
