Job Description:
As the Front of House Manager at Mikado Sushi, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the customer-facing side of the restaurant. This includes overseeing the dining area, ensuring excellent customer service, managing front-of-house staff, and working closely with the marketing team to enhance our social media presence and execute promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Ensure a welcoming and positive dining experience for all guests. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently. Monitor and maintain the ambiance and cleanliness of the dining area.Staff Management:
Hire, train, and manage front-of-house staff, ensuring a motivated and high-performing team. Create and maintain work schedules, and manage labor costs. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to staff. Front House CleanlinessMarketing & Social Media:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute front-of-house promotional strategies. Enhance and manage Mikado Sushi’s social media presence to increase brand awareness and customer engagement. Coordinate special events and promotions to drive traffic and sales.Operational Management:
Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service. Develop and implement front-of-house policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Front of House Manager or in a similar managerial role within the restaurant industry, preferably in Japanese cuisine or Asian fusion restaurants. Strong understanding of customer service and front-of-house operations. Experience in staff hiring, training, and performance management. Proficiency in using social media platforms for business promotion. Solid knowledge of marketing principles and strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.Preferred Qualifications:
