Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following
- Support the Sales Director in achieving sales targets and objectives
- Coordinate and manage sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, and customer follow-up
- Assist in the development of sales strategies and tactics to drive business growth-
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers and market trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth sales operations
- Prepare sales reports and presentations for management review
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Understand the content reflected in contracts and how to negotiate terms therein
- The Sales Coordinator will develop a full working knowledge of the operations and policies of the hotel including Sales Food and Beverage Front Office and Reservations
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Hotel front desk at least 1 year of related experience;
- Must have a valid driver’s license in the applicable state
- Must possess highly developed verbal and written communication skills to frequently negotiate convince sell and influence other managerial personnel hotel guest(s) and/or corporate clients
- Shows strong analytical skills and strategic vision in establishing appropriate sales deployment
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge especially Microsoft Office products
- Sales Coordinator candidates must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks
- Strong organization and presentation skills
- Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession
- Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations; maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software is preferred
- Be able to lift up to 30lbs
