Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following

  • Support the Sales Director in achieving sales targets and objectives
  • Coordinate and manage sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, and customer follow-up
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies and tactics to drive business growth-
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers and market trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth sales operations
  • Prepare sales reports and presentations for management review
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
  • Understand the content reflected in contracts and how to negotiate terms therein
  • The Sales Coordinator will develop a full working knowledge of the operations and policies of the hotel including Sales Food and Beverage Front Office and Reservations
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Hotel front desk at least 1 year of related experience;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in the applicable state
  • Must possess highly developed verbal and written communication skills to frequently negotiate convince sell and influence other managerial personnel hotel guest(s) and/or corporate clients
  • Shows strong analytical skills and strategic vision in establishing appropriate sales deployment
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge especially Microsoft Office products
  • Sales Coordinator candidates must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession
  • Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations; maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software is preferred
  • Be able to lift up to 30lbs
