This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative team focused on crafting new products and features to make managing flight quality a joy. This person will be responsible for researching, planning, organizing, triaging, and leading a variety of projects and products to market to move the needle on key business objectives for our flight analysis products.
Applicants for this position should be able to point to specific examples of software products and projects they have led that showcase their unique and brilliant analytical & customer-oriented problem-solving capabilities.
Job Duties

  • Take feedback and requests from customers and distill into thoughtful, problem-oriented product requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to identify key needs & trends
  • Identify opportunities for business growth, develop compelling quantitative and qualitative presentations for these opportunities to present to product and business leadership
  • Lead products and features to market with a keen focus on scope, agile, iterative delivery, customer discussions and cross-functional collaboration
  • Write detailed JIRA tickets targeted towards designers and engineers
  • Develop multi-phase project plans and requirements around key business products and features and work with cross-functional teams to execute
  • Do thoughtful and thorough market research to inform product decisions
  • Know how to bring the right people into the right room to execute on the right task
  • Work with a team of engineers, designers, support staff, and stakeholders to iteratively ship new features and improvements that move the needle on key business objectives
  • Assist in the prioritization and triaging of team backlogs
  • Maintain projects and features on schedule and within the prescribed budget
  • Develop Key Progress Indicators (KPIs) and other valuable metrics to monitor product & project success and identify opportunities for further investment
  • Develop documentation, feature demos, and usage guides for new products & features to circulate with staff


Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working in SAAS software required
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Product Manager in software required, 3-5 years preferred.
  • Pilot's license, or equivalent aviation experience required. Experience in Business Aviation is a strong plus.
  • Experience leading product or shipping features for data-intensive software strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, is able to actively listen to customers and stakeholders to articulate problems and perspectives
  • Analytical mindset, knows that underneath every customer request and new product is a "why," and knows how to ask the right questions to unearth it
  • Excellent project administration skills, is able to bring together stakeholders and engineers across teams, set and lead meetings, build a development and release plan with clear milestones, and coordinate and direct resources through project launch
  • Can speak engineer - is able to articulate the what, why, and how to a team of software, front-end and iOS engineers
  • Experience working with data-driven quantitative analysis used for KPI/OKR monitoring and developing business proposals
  • Helpful customer service attitude, is able to work with internal staff and team members to troubleshoot issues and answer questions on Flight Analysis features & products
