WHAT DOES A SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER (PET) DO?

As a Full-Time Sales Account Manager (Pet) at WonderFold, you'll dive into relationship building with new pet retail partners, ensuring their needs are met through regular check-ins and updates on our latest products and special offers. You'll excel in preparing and maintaining essential documentation for new accounts, collaborating closely with the National Sales Director on proposals and presentations. Performance tracking will be crucial as you monitor and report on account activity during Sales and Marketing meetings.

Your organizational skills will shine as you keep account portals updated and provide vital support for setting up new accounts. Engage with the pet industry firsthand by attending events, promoting our products, and conducting market research. With a focus on effective website pricing and display, you'll also assist in rolling out innovative sales campaigns, reinforcing WonderFold's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER (PET)

To thrive as a Full-Time Sales Account Manager (Pet) at WonderFold, you'll need a robust set of skills and experience. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is essential, coupled with at least 5 years of sales account management experience to ensure you're equipped to handle diverse client needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software will be crucial for maintaining accurate documentation and preparing presentations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for building strong relationships with retail partners. As you'll be typing at a minimum of 60 words per minute, this skill will facilitate efficient information sharing. Organizational abilities and attention to detail are essential when managing multiple accounts, while analytical and problem-solving skills will help you navigate challenges effectively.

Lastly, a willingness to travel occasionally will enable you to represent WonderFold at industry events and further expand our network.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
