My family is looking for a new regular babysitter for our 7yo son and 4yo daughter on the UWS starting in September 2024.
My 7yo son can be neurospicy at times and can take time to build rapport with a new babysitter. He responds best to consistent and direct feedback holding boundaries. He loves legos, reading, pokemon, and is very creative and sensitive. My 4yo daughter is a mix of sugar and spice - she loves kitties, unicorns, rainbows, babies but she is very assertive and likes to keep up with her brother. We also have an 8 year old golden doodle is who is a complete cuddle puddle and is typically the most excited of the three when babysitters arrive
We are looking for a babysitter who would be available typically 2-3 days per week, days of week and time are flexible based upon your schedule/our needs week to week.
We would look for 1 weekday afternoon per week to tag team with me the children's after school activities (you take one, I take the other). This could be the same day every week or switch it up.
We would also look for 1 weekend day or evening per week -- mix of evening date nights and daytime babysitting (usually watching 1 child while we take the other to activities such as a birthday party, sports practice, playdate, etc.)
We likely would also have one off weekday evenings every week or two for evening functions that my husband and I need to attend for organizations we are members of or for date nights.
