The BCG Global Learning & Development Design Center has established an Innovation Center of Excellence (CoE) to enhance and modernize the learning experience for BCG employees globally and future-proof our learning function. Weâre seeking a Learning Innovation Senior Manager to redefine BCGâs learning experience and technology ecosystem. We need someone both hands-on and strategic, capable of shaping top-tier learner experiences for live, virtual, and on-demand learning using innovation methodologies, design thinking, neuroscience principles, digital technologies, and AI.

In this role, you will represent the user's voice, translating needs into engaging learning products and approaches. Strategically, you should understand learning ecosystems and envision a future-proof learning technology ecosystem. Your practical âcan-doâ attitude is essential for developing prototypes and managing proof of concepts and pilots. Success requires comfort with ambiguity, strong communication, project management skills, cross-functional collaboration experience, and AI expertise.

You will have the opportunity to partner with senior L&D teams to help define our three-year plan, roadmap and ecosystem, as well as introduce best-in-class and cutting-edge learning methods and technologies to BCG.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • Developing a digital learning strategy and shaping the Digital Transformation of BCGâs L&D by bringing AI technologies and approaches, breaking down problems and solutioning using innovative and creative methods and communicating the solutions to stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with developing a range of modern learning solutions and approaches, including but not limited to Conversational AI, AI Coaching, Skills Inferencing, Adaptive Learning, Smart Nudges, Personalization, simulations.
  • Design and implement AI-enabled, skill-focused learning solutions to align with BCG's people and talent strategy.
  • Working on Skills Based Learning Organization, Skills inferencing, Skills Taxonomy would be an added advantage.
  • Thinking âproduct portfolio" rather than a "product" is crucial for this role.
  • Partnering with digital agencies and learning vendors in rapid prototyping and developing Proof-of-Concepts to drive implementation of key innovations and get the buy-in from stakeholders and users.
  • Networking and interacting with our regional and global L&D teams to pick up early on needs, local innovation and grassroots initiatives, in order to evaluate their potential for upscaling and wider rollout.
  • Partnering with non-L&D teams and IT Agile teams to identify the intersection between work and learning and design learning in the workflow strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborating with L&D and IT teams in making roadmaps actionable with clear milestones
  • Including L&D teams, stakeholders, digital-first companies, IT teams, live training teams, and end users across BCG.
  • Showcasing your ability to work independently, performing under pressure and delivering results on time.
  • Researching the market and identifying learning trends relevant to BCG in providing best-in-class learning experience.
  • Performing successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines to enhance the business while keeping with BCGâs values and culture.
  • Working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization is essential; experience doing so virtually is strongly preferred.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Bachelor's or Masterâs degree, ideally in education, digital technology or user experience preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ yearsâ experience, preferably in a Learning Innovation, Learning Technology and/or Digital Transformation role.
  • Your specialties include Digital Transformation and AI in L&D, e.g., Learning Strategy & Innovation, Design Thinking, VR / AR, Digital Credentials, Simulation.
  • Extensive experience working with Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), Social Collaborative Learning Platforms.
  • Working knowledge of emerging technologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Design Thinking principles.
  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of digital teaming tools e.g., Slack, MS Teams, Trello, Jira, Smartsheet would be a plus. Preference for experience using AI tools.
  • Experience working with remote international teams preferred.
  • Excellent English language oral and written communication skills required.
