ROLE SUMMARY:

  • We are looking for a Senior Product Management Leader to guide our global product vision and strategy focused on enhancing the driver experience.
  • This position will oversee the strategy and development of mobile applications and hardware solutions for drivers on a global scale.
  • The role includes managing product managers responsible for driver devices, behavior coaching, and mobile application solutions, while collaborating closely with R&D, UX/UI, and regional teams across Europe, North America, and Latin America. Strong leadership and expertise in global product management and driver-centric technologies are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

STRATEGY

  • Develop a comprehensive global vision (6-18 months) for driver experience, integrating mobile applications and hardware (e.g., tablets, light bars), and communicate this vision to the global executive team.
  • Manage a product portfolio that includes:
    • Driver Mobile Applications
    • Driver Devices & Tablets
    • Driver Behavior & Coaching
    • Mobile Electric Vehicle (EV) Solutions
  • Establish objectives and metrics across the driver solutions portfolio to support business outcomes, anticipating and proposing resource needs for future initiatives.
  • Champion the overall roadmap for driver solutions, providing regular updates to the executive team.

DISCOVERY

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer and market needs, ensuring all product managers are equipped to conduct research and discovery.
  • Drive innovation in driver-focused software and hardware solutions, staying abreast of industry trends and integrating new technologies.
  • Promote a data-driven approach across the team, focusing on device and app usage, driver engagement, and feature performance to enhance decision-making.
  • Prioritize new developments across the driver solutions portfolio, applying sound judgment to manage priorities and capacity among product managers and development teams.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI and R&D leadership to align support for new product initiatives and assist product managers in developing technical competencies.

DELIVERY

  • Ensure product managers define clear initiatives with well-formed purposes, requirements, and development plans.
  • Work with R&D and UX/UI leadership to align capacity and ensure timely delivery of roadmap priorities, addressing significant risks or blockers as needed.
  • Establish feedback loops for product managers and development teams to validate the quality of implementations and incorporate learnings into future iterations.
  • Coordinate with regional go-to-market teams to ensure successful launches and scaling of solutions, including offer packaging and pricing.

GROWTH

  • Directly manage, coach, and develop product managers and product owners focused on driver solutions, providing regular feedback and monitoring career development plans.
  • Champion standards of excellence within the Product team to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Lead the hiring and onboarding process for new product managers or product owners joining the driver solutions team.
  • Identify and nurture high-performing team members while anticipating future hiring needs for the Agile Delivery Stream over the next 6-12 months.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree with a proven track record of professional growth; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • 6+ years of direct experience with information technology/SaaS applications, including at least 3+ years in a product management or senior product management role.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering results in dynamic environments, with proven capabilities as an individual contributor.
  • Experience in coaching and developing senior product managers, product managers, and product owners, ideally in a direct management capacity.
  • Familiarity with driver-focused applications and hardware (e.g., tablets, light bars) is a plus.
  • Proficient in delivery, design, and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha, Figma, MixPanel).
  • Advanced understanding of UX/UI design principles and processes.
  • Strong grasp of technology applications, architecture, and solutioning processes.
  • Knowledge of go-to-market strategies, including pricing methodologies.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • High standards for work quality with excellent attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages, particularly French and/or Brazilian Portuguese, is an asset.
