Description

Hilton Chicago is looking for their next Banquet Set-Up Housperson to join the Conventions Team. Overlooking Grant Park, Lake Michigan, and Museum Campus, the hotel is situated on Michigan Avenue, where incredible experiences are around every corner.

The ideal candidate will hold comparable set-up experience or has worked in customer service before, a friendly/outgoing approach, a great approach to teamwork and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You must have full availability to work the ever-changing schedule of hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to begin their hospitality career.

Shift Pattern: AM, MID, PM and overnight shifts, weekends and holidays availability required. 

Pay Rate: $18.75 per hour

What will I be doing:

As a Banquet Set-Up Houseperson, you would be responsible setting and cleaning banquet facilities for functions in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Set tables and chairs to meet function specifications. Clean meeting space including washing meeting room walls at beginning of events Clean meeting space including, but not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, wiping areas and washing walls before and after events Requirements
