You'll be responsible for presenting our Livestock products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales. For this role, you be a creative and quantitative thinker and have extensive knowledge in managing launches throughout the lifecycle. Your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop, implement and execute strategic short and long-term product marketing plans to establish objectives and owning products throughout the lifecycle
  • Own product launches and reboots - crafting innovative and compelling messages across all marketing channels - e.g. sales material, product videos, photoshoots, website copy, blog posts, case studies, landing pages, ad campaigns - to articulate the benefits of our products
  • Work with various teams (internal groups, Product Management, Sales) to implement strategies
  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Drive change, leverage best practices and create scalable customer-centric marketing solutions
  • Determine demand for new products/services using statistical procedures and data analysis
  • Quarterly review of existing products to identify 5-10 products to reboots (number of products as resources can support)
  • In collaboration with Product Management team, educate both internal and external stakeholders about our product features and their benefits.
  • Prioritize projects to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
  • Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
  • Collect and analyze data on consumers, competitors and market trends (e.g. market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation) - consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
  • Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers' preferences
  • Forecasts consumer and industry trends - use performance data to identify and resolve issues within marketing strategies and make recommendations
  • Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct
  • Monitor and evaluate product launches and reboots using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers
  • Assist in setting brand standards by ensuring all material leaving the department is on brand according to brand style guide
  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices to position products
  • Communicate milestones, priorities, bottlenecks, and other major challenges which may affect successful delivery
  • Support other roles as necessary
  • Represent Neogen's culture, vision, mission, and core values at all times


Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Four-year college or university degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications or related field required. Proven ability to develop product launch marketing plans, creative self-starter with 6+ years working for ad agencies, background in design and copywriting is a plus. Analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
