VALORANT is Riot’s take on a character-based tactical shooter (for more info on VALORANT - click here). Program Managers on VALORANT support and own Programs and Operations efforts to ensure that VALORANT Studio is performing well within the space of Production, Discipline, and Business Operations. They partner with Producers, Managers and Leadership to bring projects and programs to successful completion.

This role reports into the Senior Manager of Studio Operations to fill the space between business and game operations programs. This is achieved through partnering with Production, and other disciplines and teams as needed to ensure the Operational needs of VALORANT Studio are supported. You are a master of communication, planning, change and risk management, and are willing to help support a variety of projects, processes, and emergent work as needed.Responsibilities:

Align autonomous teams towards complex, small- to medium-scale programs centered around VALORANT Studio’s strategic prioritiesWork with cross-functional teams to develop scope, deliverables, and program plans for assigned programs and projects Identify key requirements, resourcing, and budget needs for cross-functional and internally driven projectsManage risks and issues across programs and within teamsInspire a multidisciplinary set of teams towards shared goals and objectivesIdentify and execute opportunities and propose solutions; create efficiencies; optimize workflows; and establish quality standardsEvangelize processes and delivery methodologies to ensure we accomplish our program goalsFacilitate and manage project management ceremonies and processes Manage and report on the overall health of the programs, setting proper success criteria and evolving the programs to meet the needs of the businessFoster transparency and predictability by assisting in the building and maintaining roadmaps for assigned programsMaintain partner relationships, providing visibility into work streams and maintaining partner satisfactionUnderstand fiscal practices and controls, recording, and reporting on program expenditures & ROIRequired Qualifications 4+ years experience in operations focused project and program management Proven problem solving and analytical skillsExcellent teamwork, team leadership, communication, and stakeholder managementExperience driving delivery of cross-functional programs in alignment with functional roadmaps and strategic prioritiesExperience working on a variety of programs in the Games, Development, and/or Studio Operations space, working closely with team/discipline leaders, as well as support teams like Finance, HR, IT, LegalExperience with project tracking software (e.g. Google Sheets, Airtable, MS Project, Trello, JIRA, Smartsheets)Experience with Google Suite Applications (Google Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Forms, Drive)Experience facilitating meetings to productive outcomesUnderstanding of Agile principles and practicesExperience working with distributed development and outsourcingExperience leading functional teams through feature and content developmentExperience working with multiple crafts and disciplines to achieve of cross-organizational improvementsDesired Qualifications:Experience and affinity with the FPS genreExperience working in and organizing teams with industry standard tools and methodologies
